Efrem Jackson
Founder - Free to Serve Financial Ministries
Efrem is an ordained minister and founder / CEO of Free to Serve Financial Ministries, an organization with a mission to help individuals connect their faith and values to their financial decisions. He is a staunch advocate of financial literacy and erasing wealth disparities amongst minority communities.
Efrem has taught thousands of people how to manage their money, get out of debt and pursue lives of passion through his Blueprint for Financial Freedom course, and his podcast The Wealth Exchange. He is a sought-after speaker and has spoken on the TEDx stage, KCCI news, and various other churches , non-profits and financial industry conferences across the country.
Professionally Efrem has over 20 years of experience working in the financial services industry. He has worked as a banker, licensed financial planner, trainer, operations manager, and head of learning & development for various wealth management firms.
Originally from Chicago, Efrem moved to Iowa to attend Iowa State University where he received his bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in family financial planning. He currently holds the series 99, series 7, and series 66 Finra securities registrations.
In addition, Efrem served for five years on the Senior Board of Directors for Cornerstone Family Church in Des Moines, IA where he helped provide guidance for administering the churches budget. He has also served on the member council committee for Veridian Credit Union for four years and on the operating supportive services committee for the Polk County Housing Trust Fund.
Efrem currently resides in Iowa, with his wife and their four young children.
